Achievement House offers a robust, balanced curriculum that is designed to meet each student’s academic needs. Teachers are directly involved in creating and delivering the customized curriculum to their students through live, virtual classes and independent, online assignments. Our friendly, helpful faculty and staff are dedicated to providing a positive, engaging experience for students.
The middle school and high school curricula include traditional core subjects – English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and World Languages – along with Health & Physical Education, Art, and Family & Consumer Sciences. The Technology and Engineering Department offers Project Lead the Way (a STEM program) as well as Microsoft IT Academy. A wide range of mainstream curriculum providers, such as Holt Reinhart Winston and Prentice Hall, are carefully selected to provide the best teaching materials for the cyber environment.
The AHCCS curriculum meets or exceeds all state and Common Core Standards so that students are prepared to graduate and enter the workforce, college, or military.
Our Mission: Achievement House Cyber Charter School students will experience an improved individual outcome, measured by academic achievement, in a personalized and rich learning environment that prepares them for success in a technology-driven world.
Achievement House Cyber Charter School is a PA cyber school serving grades 7-12 and chartered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. This is a public school supported by tax dollars with no additional tuition cost or any other hidden costs to you. We provide each of our students a computer, printer, internet connection, and curriculum materials. Students participate in our custom-designed web-based platform and are offered additional teacher and mentor help so that they can accomplish their school work from home or in anywhere an internet connection is available. AHCCS meets the required charter school public education certifications and highly qualified teacher status. Additionally, the courses offered meet the requirements of Pennsylvania Academic Standards and, upon completion of the requirements, each AHCCS graduate will receive a state-issued diploma.
